Truss Booms - Truss boom's could actually be used to pick up, transport and position trusses. The attachment is designed to operate as an extended boom attachment with a pyramid or triangular shaped frame. Usually, truss booms are mounted on machines like a compact telehandler, a skid steer loader or a forklift utilizing a quick-coupler attachment.
Older kind cranes that have deep triangular truss booms are most often assemble and fastened utilizing bolts and rivets into standard open structural shapes.
